Who We Are

Atlanta Christian Church was founded in 1842 by a group of local residents. We are an independent Christian church with no denominational affiliation. Our worship service and music follows a traditional style, and the messages are presented as verse-by-verse teachings from the Bible.

    At Atlanta Christian Church, the Word of God is at the center of all we do. Our engaging, inspirational sermons go through Biblical passages verse by verse. Our emphasis is to educate people on scripture so that they can apply the principles to their own lives. 


    We go beyond just meeting on Sundays. Our church family equips and encourages one another to share the love of Christ in our community in our daily lives.

    • What can I expect from Atlanta Christian Church?

      Psalms 19:9 tells us that "The fear of the Lord is more valuable than gold and discovering it tastes sweeter even than honey". At Atlanta Christian Church, we are committed to educating others on the scriptures so that they can apply the principles they learn to their own lives. From the youngest to the oldest, there is a place for you here! Through loving and serving our community, we endeavor to live our lives as examples of God's grace and love. 


      "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28:18-20

    • Am I able to submit a prayer request?

      Absolutely! Our church would love to pray for you. If you are in need of special prayer, click on the "Request Prayer" button in the bottom right corner of the website. Here, you have the choice to keep your request private, only for our pastor, or to be made public to the church- so that more may pray for your need. If you are looking for a church to call home, we hope you will join us at Atlanta Christian Church!

When you click on the "Donate" button under "Online Giving" on the homepage or on the "Give" tab, you will be directed to our convenient donation portal through PayPal. Here, you will be able to give with whichever payment method you would prefer. If you would like, you are also able to make your donation a recurring gift.
